Sydney Pickrem

Sydney was announced as our Female and International AP Athlete in June of 2022. The Canadian swimmer has competed internationally for her country for more than a decade.

Sydney broke onto the Senior national team in 2014 earning a spot in the Commonwealth Games. A few years later in 2017, she won her first international medal in the World Championships in the 400m Individual Medley. Her first World Championship title came in 2021 in the 200m Individual Medley.

Sydney is an Olympic Medallist, Multiple World Champion, and Multiple Canadian Record Holder. She is determined to continue her success in the pool and to inspire the next generation of swimmers whilst being an AP Athlete.
