In 2018 Lauren claimed a European Junior Championships silver in the 50m Backstroke in her first time representing Great Britain. After four long years, Lauren made the transition from junior international medallist to senior medallist and across 2022 and 2023 claimed four medals across the Commonwealth Games, European & World Championships.

In 2024 although swimming the qualifying time Lauren was unfortunate to not make the Paris Olympic Games. Throughout her career Lauren has shown the resilience required to become one of the best athletes in the world, managing disappointing performances but always continuing to prove she is a world class athlete.

In 2024, Lauren supported over ten AP Race activities and was an incredible role model for the next generation of swimmers. Sharing her story and inspiring others through her journey and in 2025 AP Race introduced Lauren as one of our first ever AP Race Ambassadors.
