Breaststroke Clinics Summer Tour

Various Venues

August 20-24, 2026

The sixth AP Race Summer Tour is set to electrify this August! Running from the 20th to the 24th, this year's Tour explodes onto the scene, infused with cutting-edge insight direct from the global stage. Fresh from his appearances at both the Commonwealth Games and European Championships, Adam Ramsay-Peaty OBE will be joining us poolside, ready to share the very latest, cutting-edge lessons and insights straight from the exhilarating world of elite racing. This sport evolves quickly, so does our summer tour!

For returning athletes, this is not going to be anything like you’ve seen before. The structure, delivery and challenges have been refined to reflect what is working right now at the world level. Expect deeper technical exploration, more applied race scenarios and a sharper focus on how speed is sustained under pressure.

If this is your first time attending one of our clinics, this is a rare opportunity to step inside the mechanics of elite breaststroke performance, not just the drills, but the thought process behind them.

The entire day experience has been carefully designed to feel immersive, challenging and different from previous tours. Improvement demands evolution.

  • Pool Station:

Dive into the physics of peak performance where speed is engineered. This isn't just about laps; athletes will revolutionise their breaststroke by dissecting the elite mechanics of timing, pressure application and body-water connection. Learn how world-class breaststroke is a masterclass in control, not brute force. Swimmers will depart with a visceral understanding of what 'fast' is and the precise, repeatable skills needed to unleash that speed when the race demands it.

  • S&C Station:

Forget traditional conditioning! This dynamic session is all about unlocking explosive power by mastering body organisation. Through engaging movement challenges and lightning-fast reaction tasks, athletes will discover how core stability, precise sequencing and optimal posture directly translate to force in the water. The ultimate goal? To embed rock-solid technique that doesn't falter, even when maximum effort is demanded.

  • Racing Edge - Performance Psychology Station:

This session dives deep into the high-pressure world of race-day psychology! Athletes will gain practical, cutting-edge tools to master pre-race nerves, laser-focus their attention for optimal performance and execute immediate, effective recovery from mid-race setbacks. Forget abstract theory, these are actionable techniques ready to be deployed at your very next competition.

  • Presentation / Q&A:

Go behind the scenes with Adam for a raw, honest look at the reality of elite sport. Discover the critical adjustments between major championships, learn how to navigate the inevitable days when performance dips and uncover the essential habits that drive long-term, sustained progress. This open and interactive session offers swimmers and parents unparalleled, practical insight into the true blueprint for enduring success.

  • Parent Station:

Dive deep into the critical role of the environment in shaping athletic performance. This dynamic session unravels the nuances of effective communication, managing expectations and mastering the art of supporting a swimmer through inevitable motivation dips, frustrating setbacks and performance plateaus. Beyond just what to do, you'll gain a strategic understanding of when and why your support is most impactful.

  • FAQ's for returning Athletes...

    1. I’ve attended before, will it be different?

Absolutely. The AP Race Summer Tour evolves every year. The content is shaped by what Adam and the team are learning on the international stage. This year's clinics reflect current race trends, modern technical adjustments and updated performance insights directly from the Commonwealth Games and European Championships.

    1. Will I repeat the same drills?

No. Whilst the core principles remain consistent (timing, efficiency, power, mindset), the drills, structure and application scenarios have been refreshed to challenge swimmers in new ways.

    1. Is it suitable if I’ve already done multiple AP Race Clinics?

Without a doubt, yes. Returning swimmers often benefit the most as deeper understanding comes from layered exposure. This years format pushes that learning further with more advanced race integration.

We don't repeat tours. We refine them.

Every year evolves. So should your swimming.
